De Tomaso Pantera is a mid-engined sports car and produced by De Tomaso car company from 1971 to 1991. The first pantera powered by ford with 5.8-liter V-8 engine and produces 330 horsepower. Then Ford engine provides high torque so that it reduces the need for excessive gear change at low speed and make the car lees demanding to drive. Besides that Pantera also use 4.9-liter Ford 302 Windsor V-8 (1990-1991). It can reach maximum speed until 159 mph or around 156 km/h. Pantera consumes 15 mpg of fuel. It is the first supercar from Ford and it appears as two-seater and two-doors car. It designed in coupe body style.
Pantera also used ZF transaxle that used in Mangusta because noises emanating from transaxle more intrusive.
